Pros

This rod is even better than i'd hoped for. It's definitely not a top tier rod, but at it's price point, i think it's an excellent deal. Only complain is that smooth wrap on handle with kastking logo is cheap and surface comes off after some time.

The rubber is not as nice as the premium cork rods, but i actually prefer it over the foam style grips. Rod is strong and light. Very durable and are still fun to use. Looks sharp and is very lightweight.

Casts 3/8 very well and up to about 1 1/2. Caught a 31/2 lb. Bass with no problem landing the fish.

Cons

The rod's durability seems to be a significant issue, as it broke on my fourth fishing trip. The pole is hollow, junk! Sent it back to amazon for a refund.

Fell right off. Snapped between the 2nd and 3rd guides. Tried to lift a 12” trout out of the water and snapped the the top to feet of the pole.

Light weight, just what i was looking for but broke on third use.

Price

Very nice rod for the $$, light, sensitivity good too, i think it will make a good springtime detroit river jigging rod.

I didn't wanna buy anything too expensive that i was rarely gongs to use, so i had low expectations.

Would probably buy another for the price but shopping around if my glue up doesn't hold.

For a fisherman on a budget i can not recommend the kastking crixus more strongly.

Just got it today, shipped very fast as i ordered it yesterday afternoon.

If not exactly the one i won’t for the job, i return and the other one i’ll order is here usually in 2 days free shipping.

The way they ship the product is amazing as well.

I like this rod better than the prodigy rod that is higher priced.
