Pros

The kastking fish scale is a robust scale for most fishing needs. The digital scale is quick to set up and easy to use. The auto turn off is important for me because i hate the battery run out because i forgot to turn off as in my other devices.

Lightweight, durable, has multiple modes, priced well. It seems very sturdy; it has a nice solid feel to it.

Cons

This is completely illogical. The quality is not. Very disappointed. Not impressed.

The units button only changes between 1 or 2 decimal places. The memory function is very confusing. It works to get a in general weight but not very accurate.

The clamp that comes with the scale only opens up to about 1 inch. The force on the jaws is actually very weak and flimsy. The unit its self is all plastic and the handle feels like it will snap if you want to weight a big fish.

Second issue is the readability of the display. The backlit blue screen mode is almost invisible in sunlight. The monochrome black and white mode is fine but you cannot force it into this mode all the time.

Packaging/appearance

Also the batteries that came were such trash, i bent and badly deformed one, just trying to get it out of the packaging.
