Pros & Cons
Pros
I use the 6lb on an ultralight for crappie, and it's great compared to other flouro lines i've used. Tied on a ned rig with 8lb test. Spooled up nicely on my reels, and cast nice.
It's thin, tough and durable and seems to have a much higher breaking point than the poundage that's on the label. This compares with vanish, it’s smooth and pretty clear.
Cons
It’s almost as if this stuff gets brittle after time and has a very short shelf life. The same properties of being brittle was manifested again. Yet again, it breaks at the knot.
Stick with your normal fluoro brand or use braided. Spooled it on 2 reels and snapped off multiple lures when casting the first 1/2 hour.
