I mean i’ll straight whip it as hard as i can and let the spool run free without even thumbing it and it doesn’t spool up on me at all.

Price

I must say, this reel is impressive for the price point and has been a pleasure to fish with.

It's a surprisingly great entry-level bfs reel for the price.

But when it’s $200 to $300 price difference i would expect that.

That said, it performs well for the price and they will stay in my stable for certain setups.

Competitiveness

I think that the value is excellent, and the quality is better than i expected when i bought my first reel a few years ago.

Compared to other kastking bait casters this finesse reel is exactly that a finesse reel.

I have numerous other bait finesse casting reels and some that cost much more $ than this kastking kestrel bfs 2024 reel.

This reel has features that are similar to the mid to upper line of shimano bfs reels like the curado bfs but its priced like an slx.
