This combo did not compliment the kestrel and balance and cast accuracy were issues.
I casted it 20 times hard and did not stop the spool with my thumb and spool stoped units own as soon as the bate hit the ground.
Price
I would like to try this real but it isn't in my budget.
The reel is pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Though hesitant because of the price, i finally decided to take a chance.

Delivered fast and put some kastking 13x braided 10lb line on it.
It will let you know if you do it wrong, but even the few minor backlashes i had came out quickly.

The drag i hooked into a 3 pound fish twice i know because i caught it with the kestrel elite and the both times the aldebaran just couldn’t keep it pinned and haul it out of the brush
