For under $30 (the price at the time of this review) i am not sure you can find a better set of shears and pliers.

The same day i received this my wife had bought a 2 pound salmon filet with the skin still on it.

Also really nice as a gift for a fishing buddy because of the nice packaging.
Comes in a nice gift box and is a great gift for your fisherman or fisherwoman!
I opened the package and took out the very, very, very sharp 9 inch flexible fillet knife to remove the skin.
Came razor sharp out of the box.
Competitiveness
About a year ago i bought a small set of black pliers from kastking, and those pliers have been the best pair i'd ever bought.
Btw, i live less than a football field from the gulf of mexico where i fish weekly, so i do know good quality fishing gear.
Includes: pliers with sheath and lanyard, shears with sheath, and filet knife with sheath.

The shears are very sharp and the corrosionresistant coating is a huge plus for someone fishing boating and kayaking in salt water

The one comment i would have is that the pliers although they are a needlenose type the jaws themselves are only slightly more than 2 inches long which is not enough in cases where a hook has been swallowed by the fish

There are probably more accessory tools on this pair of scissors than you would ever need so i’ll have to spend some time with the directions to figure out with all these little projections and angles are for

Bought these with the idea that i could use them myself but i do 99 of my fishing from kayaks and these are a bit large for that kind of fishing
