Pros

Reel casts and retrieves very smoothly and quietly. Easily matches the quality of my other penn midrange and okuma reels. Not quite as silky smooth as my more expensive penn reels, but they seem just as reliable and only about a third of the cost.

Ready to be strung up with mono backer and 30lb braid. Lots of stripers on my first outing. Makes it super easy to identify a possible hookup.

The rekon level wind is the perfect setup for trolling. The ratio of the reel made reeling in very easy. Looking forward to using it, will update after landing first spring chinook.

Can’t beat the bite clicker.

Overall, i would say that this real is a great bang for your buck!

This reel is pretty nice for the price.

With the cost of more parts being high, i could get a new reel for less, so it was time to retire it.
