At time of this review, the 70-size reel was priced at $72. I have several kast king reels and every one is a nicey made product. Kastking always delivers a quality product.

The drag and reeling under tension is butter smooth. The retrieve is smooth and the drag is solid. The mechanism runs very smoothly and the retrieve is also very smooth.

The rover has a line out clicker that is comparable to my abu garcia reels. It is loaded with 30# test braided line. The spool tension sets fairly easy, and stays set unless you move it. I think i have it dialed in now though that i'm not getting back... Read More

Reel is a bit heavy for my liking, when you try to unlock the spool it just stayed locked up. Adjustment knobs don't work, this thing is a paper weight.

I got this rover 60 for catfishing right next to an older rover 70.

The rover has been a tried-and-true reel for years and probably the best value for any good baitcasting reel out there.

I have a few higher end catfish reels and this one is a competitor for a fraction of the price!
