The drag and reeling under tension is butter smooth. The retrieve is smooth and the drag is solid. The backlash control is a bit finicky, but once you get it dialed in, you're good.

This reel feels well-built and sturdy. I love the minimalist coloring on it.

Reel is a bit heavy for my liking, when you try to unlock the spool it just stayed locked up. Adjustment knobs don't work, this thing is a paper weight.

I got this rover 60 for catfishing right next to an older rover 70.
I have used many different reels and this one definitely gives the most bang for your buck.
The rover has a line out clicker that is comparable to my abu garcia reels.
It stands tall next to other brands that are 2-6 times more expensive.
