Pros

Super lightweight and plenty sensitive. Price point is what brings fisherman to try their products. It is light, sensitive, sleek and will no doubt provide many more enjoyable fishing trips.

This combo is my new go to for alaskan coho. Has just the right amount of flex to keep those trebble hooks pinned. This rod is stiff yet allows for incredible sensitivity to the smallest nibbles.

Cons

Plastic thread for the reel nut is going to come off eventually as it hangs on very little. Same result with braided or 20 lbs fire line.

They have a bad warranty and service dept. Their warranty *. Looks like the glue didn't hold?

This rod i paired with a kastking spartacus red reel.

I’ve used kastking products but never the rods.

Guides were not aligned, 2pc rods fell apart when casting.
