Cons

I always try different products out to give them a chance quality-value, but this was a bust. Don't recommend umlsing this line. Changed it over to jbraid, no snaps over 3 days.

After 20 or 30 turns crancks of the reel i found the braid completely bond down on the spool. Lost 2 lures with just 2 cast. My fin nor reel says it holds 250yds of 50lb braid.

At this point i'm conflicted. No nicks in the eyes. Very unfortunate. Just horrible.

The line is like a chalk line and the blue gets all over everything. I have no idea why the line would be all chalky and messy like that. I hope this was just a fluke.

I have braided rugs and unfortunately, newer manufactures sew their rugs together with clear monofilament.

I bought the 6# and it's crazy thin and casts out like rocket.

Price

This is an 8-strand braid at a very affordable price!

This line is inexpensive, but quite good.

A good price point for that "piece of mind".

Competitiveness

I can't see any difference from other, big name brands other than one, which is nowhere near as good as this kastking has proven to be.

Color shedding/fading is minimal and less than many more expensive brands in my opinion.

Compared to power pro at a better price.
