This line casts well and is strong. Easy to cast and fish. A 10lb silky8 is much thicker than varivas highgrade x8 pe0. It's ideal for catching larger fish and fishing in challenging conditions.

I’m very happy with it and would definitely purchase it again.

This is actually probably 25-30 lb braid with the diameter of 6 lb mono.

Though i have not fished yet with the new braid line, but reeling the line stained my fingers and line rings on my pole.

For the cost, i don't think you can go wrong here.

This is the first time i've purchased a kastking branded braided line.

I fish pretty hard and have used a number of brands: sufix, powerpro, spiderwire etc.

While i won’t say that this is better than powerpro, i also can’t really say it’s any worse.

Now granted i've only used spiderwire and berkeley before and on a cheaper scale.
