Despite its fragile appearance, it held up very well and felt solid.
It felt really cheap and flimsy, with way too much flex under load.
The 7'6" rod held up to a season of inshore striper fishing and landed a 30 lb cownose ray.
Price
I was looking for an inexpensive, extra, travel rod for one of my kids, that didn't feel cheap and clunky.
Everyone else can spend $100's at bass pro.
Packaging/appearance
I love the packaging and portability kastking provided with this rod.
It also came in a clear plastic container that was handy to just toss the whole thing in his backpack bag and be able to hike hands free.
I packed this pole in my luggage and caught many fish in the sarasota area.
Competitiveness
I am a custom to using a few particular name brand rods/reels.
Everyone else showed up with their expensive name brand gear in the large tubes and i had my kastking poles.
