- high quality – throws smoothly and far and cranks back smoothly i admit i am not a fisherman, but my buddy is and he is teaching me.

Easy to dial in and a good speed to work my crank baits /spinner baits with.

Everything is right at a fingers touch, drag, cast, release, break can all be done with minimal movement.

Zero backlashes, a couple of line runs but i had set the brakes to 3 and was thumbing it sloppily.

I can tell that the kastking zephyr is built with quality parts at a fraction of the price of other major competitors in this area.

It doesn't match up with a $200+ reels but is a worthy competitor against the $100 reels.

I have others in this price range that do not hold up against the zephyr.
