You set the time you want it on and whether or not you want the 7 changing colors to display

We like changing the color of the light and the intermittent cycle is kind of hypnotic

It also turns off automatically when theres no water in it

It still prevents me from getting a dry nose at night but compared to the similar products ive used in the past the mist this unit puts out is weaker

One more thing thats inconvenient is that the maximum water level mark is very hard to see i tried to show it in one of the pictures

I wish it had a clearer mark for it especially because the manual states that the diffuser wont work correctly if the water is filled above the max level
