It is not bulky, but it is warm and insulated. Velcro on the cuffs, also other points. All pockets have zippers, the hood is removable.
The exterior of the jacket seems to be waterproof.

While the jacket went as far as putting fleece lining on the detachable hood it doesnt have any fleece inside the arms of the jacket
