Pros & Cons
Pros
The treble on these is clear and crisp but not fatiguing.
The r3 is a precision instrument fulfilling the role of completely vanishing. It responds very well to equalization and digital room correction from the likes of dirac. It helps round out the sound.
Horizontal directivity is about 120 degrees, which can be beneficial in smaller rooms and in rooms where sidewall treatment is not feasible or desirable. The reviewer on this thread that marked them down probably prefers exaggerated high notes in spea... Read More
This is a bookshelf speaker that sounds as big as a floor standing speaker, no exaggeration. The only knock on these speakers is the price.

I honestly think the one star review on here is a troller who loves b and w or very pronounced treble not that there is anything wrong with being someone who loves those things but to give these one star is a flat out wrong
