Packaging/appearance
I tried a frameless pack but found it annoying to pack and uncomfortably sweaty on my back.
Here are a couple observations that i made just after opening the package.
However that being said, it is still a very nice pack and not enough reason for me to send it back.
Competitiveness
Scout leaders looked it over and were impressed with quality and features compared to more expensive packs.

The only downside is the side pockets they wont hold water bottles well

One downside that was pointed out was the sleeping bag zipper on the bottom is not a separate compartment and is open to the main storage area

One of the main reasons i purchased this pack was because i really like the color scheme shown in the product photos the grey and blue with brown straps looked really nice as you can see that is not accurate as all the straps are grey
