It is reasonable light weight and seems very sturdy.
You should not have that problem with kelty chairs, they are quality sturdy chairs.
It rained, they got wet and they did not dry quickly.
There is a little pocket at the bottom the chair feet go into, and then there are three straps that clamp around it and hold it in place.
Price
It seemed kind of expensive at first but this chair is probably the best foldable camping chair i've ever had.
Pretty nice chair, but a bit pricey.

I havent used the carrying case for things like firewood but i can see how you could and how it would be convenient

They do sell a more premion camp chair which i believe has a bit larger dimensions
