Price
Great price and weight for a 2 person tent.
Over all great tent for the buck.
This is a good tent for the price.
But the price point is reflective of that with this size.
Shipping
Awesome customer service & ~10 years later i’m still impressed.
Took this on a 3 day backpacking trip to red river gorge, ky.
Packaging/appearance
Much easier to pack than my other tents with 18-24" pole segments.
I do wish it came in a different carry bag but those are easy enough to find, so no problem.
At first i was thrown off by the square-ish packing dimensions, but that's just how kelty ships it with the rainfly and tent side-by-side.
I usually pack it in my backpack without the sack it comes in.
Competitiveness
No big deal; i replaced them with msr ultralight stakes anyway.
This tent compares very favorably for an affordable, lightweight, and small-packing tent.
The tent is longer than most tents at this price point, which allows you about a foot of space above or below where you sleep.

Although we could have gotten away with the twoperson version we opted for the bigger tent to provide more sheltered space in case it rained or something
