Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to set up (timed myself in under 5 minutes), held up well in moderate winds. It is very easy to assemble which was a real plus. Super easy setup.
Bought this for primarily car camping at dirt bike rallies but wanted something small enough to pack onto the back of a dual sport for longer moto-camping trips. It folds up tight and nice and he is able to carry it in his foot locker with all his oth... Read More
The vestibule is nice. Camper by a river for 3 days with heavy dew and had no problems with moister inside the tent. Perfect for casual camping.
All seams and tie out points are sealed with seam tape. The newly designed corner sleeves for the poles are nice. They are very outdoorsy and know good quality, and they were very happy with the sturdiness and quality of the tent.
Cons
This tent struggled during a surprise storm the encompassed wind, rain, and snow during a 2 week long backpacking trip. One night of camping and the poles and connectors are bent to a degree i’ve not seen before.
Highlights
Quality
Tent is well made and extremely quick to put up, even in the wind.
We did a quick ruck through more head kentucky easy set up and tear down high quality well made product
It’s lighter, it’s only 2 poles, the set up is fool proof, and overall roomy.
It split due to wind placing significant lateral stress on the tent.
Price
I went from owning a $40 2 person coleman tent to this one and it’s literally so spacious!
We now own the 2 person and 4 person, best buy for the price.
Not to bad of a tent for the price.
Cost, while always something to look for, was not a factor on a new larger tent.
Shipping
I sent it to their repair shop in alabama and they repaired it same day and shipped it back fedex the next morning.
Packaging/appearance
First tent i've owned that i could fold back up and fit into its original packaging/carry sack.
There is plenty of room to move around around, and if i pack the tent poles separately, the entire tent fits nicely in my backpack.
The only two cons i have right out of the packaging, is:1.
I had to pack it vertically in my 55l backpack since it was just barely too long to store horizontally, but with some better pa... Read More
Competitiveness
Other companies might be as good but i won’t be using anything but kelty because they took care of business so i trust them.
More tent manufacturers need to use this design.

The tent is easy to assemble and disassemble and will fit in a smaller bag than what is provided so if you wanted a compression bag to save space in your pack that is something you could do
