Pros & Cons
Pros
Their setup is the easiest tent i've ever setup. Setup is a breeze, quick and easy.
The quality seems top notch, especially the tub. My only concern is the durability of the bottom of the tent.
It's easy to pack and carry on long backpacking trips. Set up/takedown is quick and easy. Tent is relatively lightweight for my needs.
The late start takes perhaps a third of the setup time as say a big agnes tent. Sleeves instead of grommets makes it faster as does only two poles and no hub. Comes with 10 stakes.
This is a little heavy for ultralight backpacking. Great combo of weight/price/known company.
Cons
The rain fly has no extra material for the vestibule - which means you cannot keep any gear under it. The very minimum weight (not sure what you have to remove for this) is 4lb.
Highlights
Quality
Quality is also good, well made no defects i could find.
We were happy to see very high quality netting and fabrics.
Spent a few nights in this tent and it is the first tent that i have ever been in that didn't build up tons of condensation on the walls.
It’s made of almost the same material as the side rather than a thicker material.
Price
It is a great backpacking tent for the money.
5 pounds lighter and is $400+ more.
At this price point for a 1 person tent with a vestibule and room for me to sit up inside is ok in my book.
Lite for a 4 person tent in this price range.
Packaging/appearance
It’s easy to pack and carry on long backpacking trips.
Since i'm only taking 2, the packed weight comes to 4 pounds, 4.
However, as-is, the tent was the perfect size for me with my sleeping mat, my 50l pack, and my 45lb dog to sleep next to me in ... Read More

Compared this to some of the top tear hiking tents and i just don’t understand why it’s not in the same category.
My comparison i was going to buy instead is the big agnes tents that weigh 2-3lbs, marmot crane creek 2 ul around 4.

It is stand alone and when the ground was to hard to drive in the stakes the cords at each corner easily tied to rocks

The rest of the gear is easily stored in the vestibule

This tent has no vents in the rain fly but the tent is almost all mesh and as i’m only camping in the fall spring it shouldn’t be a problem
