Pros & Cons
Pros
The quality seems top notch. My only concern is the durability of the bottom of the tent. Great quality.
The mesh is reasonably good and lots of it for good airflow. Many alaskans and alaskan guides recommend this tent for back country. My only complaint is that there is no rain-fly vent.
Super roomy for one with panniers. Big enough to get my hyperlight cot in there. Easily fit the 2 of us comfortably, both with full size pads.
This is a little heavy for ultralight backpacking. Great for backpacking without spending $600 on an uber ultra-lite tent.
Sleeves instead of grommets makes it faster as does only two poles and no hub. Color coding for the fly is a great idea and the sleeve for the poles is genius.
Cons
The wind and dust rip through the vents in the tent. Tent fly is too small.
Highlights
Quality
Quality is also good, well made no defects i could find.
We were happy to see very high quality netting and fabrics.
Spent a few nights in this tent and it is the first tent that i have ever been in that didn't build up tons of condensation on the walls.
It’s made of almost the same material as the side rather than a thicker material.
Price
At this price point for a 1 person tent with a vestibule and room for me to sit up inside is ok in my book.
Lite for a 4 person tent in this price range.
Packaging/appearance
It’s easy to pack and carry on long backpacking trips.
Since i'm only taking 2, the packed weight comes to 4 pounds, 4.
However, as-is, the tent was the perfect size for me with my sleeping mat, my 50l pack, and my 45lb dog to sleep next to me in ... Read More

My comparison i was going to buy instead is the big agnes tents that weigh 2-3lbs, marmot crane creek 2 ul around 4.
It's a bit wider than other tents at this price point.
