Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to pack up small and comfy and warm. Well made, light weight and small enough to be packed in my 50l pack for a 3+ day trip. Beefy zipper, good construction.
This sleeping bag is great for camping and sleeping on the couch. Great for summer sleep overs and camping. Being able to kick the feet out is a nice feature. If sleeping on hard surface, a pad would definitely be needed, there’s no cushion, better fo... Read More
The rambler 50 is great for sofa surfing, compact to tuck away in car or in suitcase. It has a slight mummy configuration but generous enough to not be constricting to my size 16 body.
Nice overall felling and seems very well made. Just need to find the right niche in repacking. Would be nice to see video on their website blog or youtube about how to repack bags after usage.
Cons
The shoulder circumference is so small.
Highlights
Quality
The quality is superb, and this is a bag you can count on having for many years down the the road even with frequent use.
I appreciate the quality zipper too, compared to other bags at this price point.
I suspect most people will use straps to hold the bag in a rolled position and not bother with the carrying bag.
For this review i will compare with the marmot voyager 55 sleeping bag that we also have (https://www.
Competitiveness
Stuffs small and weighs less than 12oz, which is good!
I am a 150lb female and this fit me just right, i can imagine this would be difficult for a larger person.
You shouldn't sleep in this at 50 if you can help it.
