Used it at from 9000 - to over 12000 feet elevations and never even zipped the bag up just used it like a blanket.

Typically stay away from 'kelty' unless i need a cheap target-type item, but this one broke the mold.

For under $250 this is a decent bag for backcountry lightweight long-distance cusp-season adventures.

If your budget is under 300 dollars and you want a good down bag i find this bag hard to beat.

Packaging/appearance

Roomy, warm, (but i use a liner), packed down to nothing!

Packs smaller than suggested by some of the reviews.

Competitiveness

You can not compare a nissian sentra to a maxmia.

I had another brand that packed down smaller, but it didn't have enough room.

Compared it to the northface furnace 20 degree, and the big agnes spike lake 15 degree.
