If you place a rolled up towel in the loops at the base of the pack it balances it so that it will stand on its own.

I do wish there were a couple more rows of molle for tactical use, but pretty much anything i need does fit in the pack already.

Competitiveness

I needed something that could hold more than a daypack, a spot for a water bladder, and a comfortable fit.

Truth be told though, i have switched down to a 30l ultralight g4free bag on occasion.

I needed just a little bit larger size and cushion for hiking the appalachian trail, so i also have a deuter aircontact lite 45+10.

All in all, i’d say this is a high-quality pack for the price point.
