I’m using 1/4 inch twisted nylon rope and it’s pretty easy to adjust the height of the fenders, but at least for me, it takes two hands.
Still, it’s easier than adjusting a hitch knot.

I’m using 14 inch twisted nylon rope and it’s pretty easy to adjust the height of the fenders but at least for me it takes two hands

I did tie a stopper knot on the end to keep the line from falling out of the keeper when lowering the fender
