Pros
The contour of the pad's top surface fills in the flattened contours of the seat. It also provides good cushioning and lower back support. They provide excellent comfort and support and are very durable.
The cushion is substantial in weight and quality. I use a pillowcase with mine so it won't leave any residue on my chair. Of course i wish the chair had come with this quality pad already in it, but those are very pricey.
Cons
Astar cushion has a moldy smell that is not going away anytime soon. The backrest is too short to fit around the back of a chair. The smell of the cushion is so bad that i have to stop my car to put it in the trunk while i took it to my office.
Cushion is too small for most adults. Bottom does not have a non-slip surface and the front of the cushion is not tapered, so it cuts into your thighs.

Very good product, provides support and comfort.
Of course i wish the chair had come with this quality pad already in it, but those are very pricey.
Although i consider myself a discerning and critical consumer, i can't think of a way to improve this product.

I should add that the lack of a donut hole cutout is an advantage per my doc who says those are just bad
