Pros
The monitor ports are dvi and hdmi. There are inexpensive cables and adapters that convert dvi to hdmi or vice versa. The dock also has an audio input port if you want to connect a microphone.
Plugged it into my microsoft surface laptop (first edition) and this docking station was plug and go for me. It also works with my work-issued dell latitude 5480. Only thing that doesn't work great is the dongle for my keyboard.
Cons
After plugging everything in and plugging it into the laptop, nothing. I have to unplug the device to get the laptop to respond. Tried with my dell xps 13 and basically the same story.

And the price was right compared to others.
This is a great product for the money .

It did not state that it would not include the usb cable which is needed to connect to a computer or the monitor adaptors

The product is excellent but im very unhappy with amazon for not making it clear that the used one would be missing the cables and adaptors
