Pros

The footrest is fully adjustable. The tilt mechanism is easy, but the height adjustment takes a little patience. The height is adjustable and so is the angle.

The top of the foot rest is somewhat squishy and comfortable enough to put bare feet on. I almost exclusively use it with socks. The memory foam on the top is sooo comfortable. The slight cushion is nice.

Not sure why that is since you can't buy a replacement, not that you would ever need to anyways, it seems very durable. The plastic parts seem durable and not cheap.

Cons

The gel padding is comfortable, but the black padding is starting to peel away at the edges. The height of the gel cushion is non-existent. The foot pedal doesn't work at all. One of the adjustable arms is stuck and defective.

For $40 this is inexcusable. I don't see this thing lasting more than 6 months to a year. Please get a footrest somewhere else with a lot of sales and ratings.

The construction is solid and the foam top foot pad is fine with or without shoes.

Gel pad, sturdy, comfortable and relieves pressure in my legs!

Slouched over, keyboard in my lap, twisted sideways (half asleep :) feet on my desk.

I used to hate doing my work at my desk because i didn’t have anywhere to rest my feet on and it caused back/neck pain.

Price

Bottom line is i think they are an excellent product especially for the price.

You get what you pay for, and this is well, well worth it.

Competitiveness

I compared many footrest prior to purchasing and really liked the quality and style of the kensington.

There are many foreign knockoffs that look similar but absolutely are inferior.

I am returning another brand i bought off amazon due to comfort and no grip on the bottom and i'm glad i got this one to replace it.

I had a cheaper seemingly identical foreign knock-off before this.
