Not sure how secure the adhesive backed anchor plate would be however this entire kit is really designed to prevent a casual theft so its no doubt fine in that regard

Not really meant to secure a laptop although you could because the slot widgets are fiddly and small and not suited to be frequent removal

We bought this kit specifically for this feature but theres nothing particularly impressive about the adhesive
