Pros
This is especially useful when operating in a coffee shop or some other public space where you don't know who is lurking around behind you. Can't complain too much -- it does what it says it does. Very happy with my purchase.
Works well enough, and adheres securely. Can be flipped to either the matte side or the shiny side. When my privacy screen is on, i sometimes have to turn up my brightness.
Comes with a cleaning cloth and a thin sleeve for the film. Magnetic so you just line it up and it slaps right into place. The film, due to the magnetic portion being slightly thicker, leaves the laptop with a negligible gap.
Cons
The magnets in the privacy screen and in my 2020 macbook pro were misaligned. Gap when screen is attached and attempting to close macbook is much wider than advertised. The laptop closes almost entirely, leaving only a super small gap.
The screen simply dulls the screen a little bit. Although the magnetic is very nice the protector makes my screen so grainy looking. It's so bad that people could easily read the larger text on the screen, even at 50% brightness.

Keep in mind, all of this testing was done with someone sitting literally shoulder to shoulder, and i'm relaying worst case scenario.
My mbp, like many others, has been plagued with the screen having imprints from the keys that are now permanent marks on the screen.
Price
For ~$40 it's feasible to occasionally purchase a new one if the matte side gets dirty, which was one of my initial concerns.
I took a chance and ordered this produced used like new and i'm glad i did for the lower price.
Shipping
The privacy screen arrived to my home in sofia (eastern europe, bulgaria) in under 2 weeks.
Packaging/appearance
Already threw away the packaging, so i can’t return the screen.
Competitiveness
I have no idea what the difference is between this privacy screen and the more expensive elite, and this is the only one i've tried.
In other words, you won't find something better for it.

You need to use some transparent double sided tapes at bottom of both sides to ensure proper mounting when you close the laptop

I was really hoping this would help prevent the glare of the sun while using a laptop outside but all it does for that is darken the screen to the point where i still cant use the laptop

I dont feel its easy to store on the back of the case though as a longterm solution

While it attaches easily to the back once the magnets are stuck on it really runs the risk of scratches and damage

I would attach the screen coversleeve to the back instead but it is too big for the cover
