This is amazing! A good marque and so far so good. Good quality. Recommended with reservation. I'm glad i picked this one - i hope it lasts a long time!
Main pad gives a firm and above all stable surface to locate the trackball. No mucking around locating the wrist rest. Pad grips the surface of the table and doesn't move at all. Mouse has plenty of room on it and glides around nicely.
Cons

Cursor just skips around and is unusable. You have to delve deeply into the reviews to find ones from owners of optical mice that tell you of this problem.
I wish i was joking. Nicely designed and comfortable (great wrist support), but absolutely awful as a surface for my microsoft 5000 laser mouse. The bluetrack system in the mouse is supposed to cope with almost anything - but not this mouse mat.

Unfortunately i found my wrist pain worsened when using a vertical ergonomic mouse in conjunction with this mouse mat largely due to the gel pad compressing the ulner nerve which runs down the side of the wrist towards the little finger

I found the wrist rest too firm for me so i removed some of the foam from the underside of the rest until it became comfortable for me

The gel part is really comfortable though so for now im putting up with it
