Pros & Cons
Pros
The orbit scroll ring feels smoother than on the expert. They work well and are reasonably priced. This works well but is awkwardly shaped.
The cord is five feet long and has been long enough for desktops on the left and laptops on the right. It works well and without glitches. The extra resolution ball sensor makes everything so much better. Love it and used it on my desktop pc.
On my second one in 6 yrs. Its comes with a 3 year warranty so if it fails anytime soon kengsington will take care of it. Aww, no problem.
Cons
The scroll wheel is physically it has no detent so it's free-spinning without providing any feedback at regular intervals like a mouse scroll wheel does.
Makes it totally worthless in a multiple-mouse/trackball setup. This thing feels like it was the first try by kensington to make a trackball but failed miserably!
