Its a 4button 1800dpi laseroptical mouse with the usual left and right buttons a clickable scrollwheel and a side thumb button which is apparently dedicated to the gestural controls it advertises its also advertised as an ambidextrous mouse but using that side button will be awkward for lefties as its only on the right side of the mouse

In the past ive always used that side button as back but here it seems dedicated to the gesture control and cant be remapped there isnt any software supplied with it and the windows control panel doesnt seem to allow remapping buttons

In windows7 you can also use it as a crude and rather fiddly taskswitcher gesture button forward and back mouse movements but thats the only gesture that seems to work there

All in all its not going to set the world on fire but it does exactly what youd expect of a mouse without issue its fairly cheap and could act as a useful spare

Its slightly on the small side with the addition of a single thumb operated button on the side left

I suspect as with all the previous mice ive owned that had extra buttons that theyll remain unused for the lifetime of the mouse only ever activated by accident
