Pros
Everything works seamlessly. I am evened using a thunderbolt 2 monitor. Overall it is not a bad choice if you can accept the price.
Cons
It puts out interference on the network so it * everything on the same switch it's plugged into. Have to turn computer off and on to re-initialize.

"gigabit ethernet"this dock fails to hit gigabit speeds even when ethernet is the only thing plugged in.

It's a bit expensive, but it works very well.

I see a few bad reviews here when it keeps having to be reset every time someones computer goes into sleep mode but i suspect the problem there is the power saving feature most modern usb ports have turned on by defult i shut that off on my pc long ago

I have used other docks that have had reliability issues with thunderbolt connecting sometimes and not others

If you are looking to go from displayport to hdmi you will need an active connector

This thing gets warm it could double as a mug warmer if you rest your coffee on it thats mostly a joke
