I've planter faciitus in one foot, the rest enables me to watch tv with the bad foot raised so easing discomfort.
It is a bit cheap quality but does the job.

Fairly basic hard plastic foot rest with reasonably range of adjustment

I sent back another design which has a rocking foot rest and broke within a few months im not very heavy

Its nothing fancy but its super easy to assemble and operate its a foot rest not a rocket ship

I already had a comfortable chair but realised that my spine went into a stupid position because i couldnt get my feet flat on the floor and using a box to rest them on made my knees higher than my hips which is apparently a bad thing
