1 when i toast the bread, otherwise the bread gets burnt.
Competitiveness
The extra special thing i love , is the way it does not take up a lot of worktop space.
Took a while to find the right setting for biona rye bread, for example.

After our previous £150 toaster died just outside its 2 year warranty i thought id try a cheaper option

The heat settings are very hot so i cook bagels on a 1 and toast generally on a 2 maybe a 3
