This can be paired to your phone if preferred what i really liked about it is the onboard garmin nav can be is updated and does not require a wifi connection to sync up for navigation

If you install this unit yourself make sure there is adequate room at the top and bottom before powering it up

There is a memory setting for screen tilt and it will go to the position in memory even if it is not in that position when you take it out of the box
