Pros

It is beautiful and nicely made. Much cheaper than a car payment. The great customer service is a good reason to select this seller.

Touchscreen looks good and has better anti-glare. Capacitive touch is responsive and nice. Android auto is seemless and makes following maps and listening to music simple.

Bluetooth is great and downloads your contacts to call through the radio itself. Pairs good with wireless apple carplay. Bluetooth works great too! Apple plays cool.

My kenwood in my truck is an upper 9000 series model and has been flawless. Replacement for an 03 compressor head unit. Nice radio big upgrade from the factory radio in my 05 ram.

Subwoofer output is crystal clear. Voice for siri is dead on. Carplay works flawlessly.

Cons

The things is useless now. Beyond that, once it's in place and on, this thing is awful. Do not recommend.

Anyone who borrows my truck will either need a personal tutorial or at least to have me turn off the radio and leave it off.

Tried multiple plugs/adapters/etc, and it never works correctly, and never seems to receive a signal.

After three months some of the touch screen stopped working.

Price

This is a great inexpensive head unit.

Saved about $500 by installing this myself.

But is really a good product for the price.

And with last price drop and checking on rating i pulled the trigger.

Shipping

It was much quicker than i expected.

Packaging/appearance

Really packs a punch for its size!

Competitiveness

Much better compared to chinese knock off units.

Both work pretty well, as does siriusxm (which i did not plan on getting initially).

The wires for the other brand were about half as thick as the kenwood dmx4707s.

The software is less than what i would expect from kenwood.
