The biggest upgrade is that spotify can now be controlled with an app interface rather than a generic bluetooth stream where you could only control the current playlist

The screen is crisper and a little bit better with glare but its still not good on bright days in direct sunlight

The bluetooth call interface on this model is a bit nicer with larger buttons for the dialer in particular

I cant say anything about the integrated amp because i dont use it but it should be noted that all integrated head unit amps are going to be at best barely sufficient with anything more than low power oe speakers

I dont really understand that but at least the back button on the screen does now take you to the current source rather than back one screen

I have also had intermittent issues with the bluetooth connection being lost but kenwood should address that with a firmware update they have in the past

A lot of head units have this problem because they are built on ancient operating systems and bluetooth itself is an old protocol
