Apple carplay works flawlessly via bluetooth. Touch screen responds well equalizer is easy to program. Most of the aftermarket dash kits have the radio sitting flush to the dash which puts it in the sunlight.

Because of this i cannot hook up my phone to the usb port to charge and it will not go into carplay via charging cord.
