Sound quality is great, but it all depends on the amp and the box as well.
Works perfectly with the kenwood amp and audio control lc2i i bought to keep my factory radio.
With the all the time i took to do the install the speaker carries no name on it.
The price point is especially low for the value.

I am only running a 1000w kenwood amp and it handles it fine.
Paired with a pa 1200w amp and a sealed custom box and voila!
It won't win any street competitions but they hit hard for everyday use.
Did a full customers install in a 2002 chevy silverado extended cab and these pound hard!

Very good sub replaced a older pioneer shallow mount subwoofer and it is a upgrade but not a clear cut upgrade but it hits harder and the bass is clearer im hoping the sound improves after being broken in

The reason for four stars is that the little stickers that go on the speaker is missing
