Pros

Kenwood marine deck and jl 75×4 amp. Much louder than my previous kenwood marine speakers. Just the two of these speakers provides enough volume and bass to be heard clearly over the outboard while underway.

The sound and durability of these speakers for the price. The tweeters sounds great too.

Easy to install. But drilling new holes was simple. There seems to be a lot of questions about cutting a hole in the fiberglass. You just have to spend a tiny bit of time sanding the hole to make them fit.

Cons

One of the boxes had been opened before and was missing all the screws and hardware to install the second pair of speaker. Looks like they didn't use enough glue or used junk glue. One speaker is now blown and has to be replaced.

Lasted 3 years on my toy hauler, until the cone fell apart.

2 years old, and still not dry rotting or anything.

I don’t think you can beat the sound on these speakers for the price.

They sound way better than the other academy sports sourced ones did.

I replaced some inexpensive "dual" brand speakers in by 21 foot center console.

For the money paid on amazon, there is no better deal than these kenwood speakers.

I'm sure there may be better sounding speakers out there but for the money these can't be beat.
