The lapel clip is spring loaded and has notches to rotate the clip 360 degrees in 45 deg increments. Some of my coworkers say it works too well. Works great with tytera md 390. Kenwood makes a great mic but i just prefer headphones w/boom mics.

Although the case is plastic it does not have a cheap plastic feel to it at all

The ptt button has very little side to side play and there is an audible and tactile click when it is depressed or released
