It was purchased mainly to play mp3 encoded cds but the cd player function has been intermittent the last few years

The manual does not cover this feature well and only talks about how to set the date and time 12 hour and 24 hour modes

When i initially hooked it up it froze when switching from fm to bluetooth had to power cycle a couple of times and then it straightened out

Where the unit gets even more complex and finicky is when working with usb drives and your phone for content
