Pros & Cons
Pros
Kenwood kmc011 is a 7qt stand mixer with a built-in meat grinder. It is quieter than a kitchenaid and is much more powerful than my last mixer. The only drawback is that it’s hard to find additional kenwood attachments (such as a meatgrinder and chees... Read More
It looks just like my mother's, except for being heavier, sturdier and chrome. Bought at costco, definitely an upgrade from our well used kitchen aid. Some are avail outside the us.
Cons
It is a press fitting, and there is basically no way to repair it. These things are not in it for the long haul. Have a 25year old kitchenaid it does not vibrate when i make bread, whips cream better.
Highlights
Quality
Heavy duty motor and well made attachments.
It simply works very well and best of all it is made from stainless steel!
Things that would take me half an hour by hand or would make the ka slip gears and smoke, take a few seconds with this monster.
My first mixer was brand kitchen aid, but it’s stopped to work after 2 years use and now i purchase kenwood.
Price
More expensive than most but it's super!
This was basically an open-box deal and i am thrilled with it.
I got an open item for 50% of the price only to discover that the prior buyer had difficulty to remove the bowl.
I'm sure that this is worth paying full price because it's that good!
Shipping
It had minor shipping damage on the one side which may be why it was listed as used.
Packaging/appearance
It was in the original packaging, and everything was intact.
I gave it a 4 only because of the pro packing.
Although it was sold as used, all the packaging was intact.
Packing was horrible, packing material was lacking if any.
Competitiveness
For smaller portions of lighter pastries i still prefer to use a smaller kitchen machine but the kenwood is the right one for h... Read More
I have only found the pasta maker and top juicer listed anywhere in the us.
You can't go wrong with the kenwood, arguably the best on the market.
