It does work but only the volume updown as the rest of the keys are for playing dvds

Have a ddx7 kenwood car stereo unit and very much needed a remote works great wish the stereo had a feature to disable the screen while driving at night

My kenwood radio did not come with a remote but had the smartphone remote app
