Pros
Cleaning the bottom of the blender can be difficult. One things that’s specifically good about this particular make and model is the seal on the blade piece. Better than and on par with a majority of the higher priced units.
Each unit comes with two fairly big cups with lids and one blending lid. Can whip up a breakfast smoothie in no time using frozen fruit, brilliant. The instruction booklet also contains several appealing recipes.
Cons
The kenwood is candidly useless. They need to rethink the knob design as it clearly is not strong enough. It's great while it lasts, but is just too flimsy.
Didn't purchase on amazon; bought circa 2 months ago, now looking for a replacement. Do not waste your money and search after a more reliable product.
It seems you only get about 1 year of regular use before the unit needs replacing. I am very frustrated as now the item is not elgible for return or exchange even though it is completely faulty.
The plastic parts on the mixer have disintegrated. The lubrication oil from the blender attachment is seeping in to the food.

Great blender as well as smoothie maker and really easy to clean.
Easy to clean, not as noisy as my last one but still loud.
Hopefully it’ll last as long as my last kenwood smoothie maker did.

It’s a good price, comes with a replacement and it’s ideal that the blender is also the smoothie cup.
Competitiveness
If in doubt buy one it’s considerably cheaper than other brands but does the job perfectly well.

It would probably wreck the seals and mechanism using the dishwasher

However that it did not arrive in a package but in the manufacturers box which was unsealed

This maybe normal but has given me concern as i have noted other reviews where people received used goods and i also note that amazon also sells these as refurbished
