Pros & Cons
Pros
The chopper is a decent size, allowing it to tackle jobs that previously would have required a dedicated food processor. Unlike the dualit, it has a plastic wand so i let my soup cool slightly before blending then reheat if necessary.
The vibration while in use isn't too difficult for my mum to control. The gadgets are a simple twist of the wrist to change from one to another.
It blends well and you quickly get a very blended/puréed mix. This blenders two parts click together easily but feel sturdy.
Cons
When blending in saucepans it merrily scratches great gouges into the non-stick bottom. The smell is horrendous and i am going to have to buy a spare.
Highlights
Quality
The blender works really well and i’m pleased with the functionality.
Super little hand blender, kenwood always produce quality products.
That curved blade sees off the lumps the old blender always left and the motor is stronger and deals with the soup blending a treat.
Shipping
This new one is fast as well as powerful and makes short work of everything so far.
Packaging/appearance
It takes longer to catch all the lumps than the dualit and has to be limited to using for only 1 minute (like the dualit).
Competitiveness
I bought this when i thought my invaluable dualit blender seemed to die (it just need to cool down).
An excellent and good value, much more effective than cheaper options
